Daphne Edwards Landscape Architecture
Designing Sanctuary
The beauty of land grounds us and feeds our souls.
So nourished, we take better care of the world around us.

Daphne is passionate about creating landscapes that meet our need for solace and beauty.
She combines elements of style with elements of nature to design sanctuaries for clients throughout the Bay Area.
Daphne earned a BA from Stanford in 1992 and an MLA from UCBerkeley in 2003. She is a Continuing Lecturer at UC Berkeley in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, where she has taught since 2008.
From 2003-2010 Daphne trained in the office of Peter Walker Partners, an international landscape architecture firm based in Berkeley. In her time at PWP she worked on huge public projects such as Tower One in NYC and campuses at UT Austin and UT Dallas. But she felt drawn toward private clients and estates, as well as to teaching. She left PWP to start DELA in 2010.
